Oh, and something which I noticed a while ago but which I'm not sure how to take...

You all know how in the Matrix, the last human city is called Zion. Well, in the Animatrix series, when they start telling the story of how the computers took over in the first place, it seems like the machines started in Arabia (maybe even Mecca).

So what does that mean exactly?

In Animatrix, the computers are actually portrayed somewhat sympathetically so I'm not necessarily saying that this some kind of negative stereotypical Orientalism. But still, what are they trying to say.
