Does anyone out there know of any tariqats which have a presence in the Miami area?

Asalamu 'alaykum,
Did you find any? I was wondering the same thing when I was staying with my family in Florida. I will be in Miami this weekend, iA. What masjid do you suggest for jummah?

wa alaikum salaam,

There are some Shadhilis who follow
Sidi Muhammad al-Jamal. They are nice people, mostly recent converts to Islam so it is a different vibe than what I'm used to.

In terms of masjids I haven't really shopped around enough to recommend a place. i typically would either go to the Flagler masjid (with many Indo-Paks and Latinos) or Masjid al-Ansar (followers of Warithdeen Muhammad).

I recently found out about Darul Uloom Florida which has weekly dhikr (Thursday) on their schedule so I imagine that they are more Sufi-friendly than other mosques. But I haven't actually checked them out yet.
