qawwali kissing flamenco
for more of this amazing fusion and synthesis, you might want to check out the Sologak blog: Sufi Chant: Qawali & Flamenco
INCREDIBLE! I have been in love with flamenco for so many years and was immersed in the culture (dancing and singing) for a long while up until a few years ago. I'm not always a big fan of fusion flamenco and tend to stick to flamenco puro. but this kind of fusion is different because it's essentially an expression of flamenco's roots, which stems in India, Middle East and North Africa.
