female, muslim and mutant
altmuslimah: Female, Muslim, and mutant: Muslim women in comic books part 1 part 2
yes i have! i really liked it however the same folks that did Pride Of Baghdad have this awful series called Y: The Last Man. Despite the dope visual art component of the series, the politics is HORRIBLE.
I was tempted to get Y: The Last Man, especially after seeing the film "Children of Men" but the whole thing seemed too long...(and more importantly, expensive).
Any favorites? I really liked Kyle Baker's "Why I Hate Saturn"
as a huge comic/graphic novel fan, and a muslim woman, i really appreciated this particular post. much thanks,
